An architecture project can reach the workshop at two different moments.
If you’re at the start and need the idea to become something you can touch, we build the model, whether for visualization, competition or exhibition. If the build is in its final stretch and you’re looking for unique finishes, cladding or furniture that shape how people actually inhabit the space, we do that too. As with anything custom-made, materials and processes contribute more as part of the design work than as a variable added at the end. The sooner we join the conversation, the better.

Scale models

Small models for a first form study, fine carpentry with hundreds of assembled wood pieces for an exhibition, or competition models with the proposed intervention built over the original in plaster. Each one calls for different materials, finishes and levels of detail.

Ceramic murals and tiles

A 40 m² mural with 18 different designs for the Only You hotel, a floor with a custom clay body and design for the BD Home booth at Marbella Design Week, the technical solutions for the mural of hundreds of unique pieces at Google Málaga. R&D in ceramics and the production of exclusive cladding weigh more in our work every day.

For three years we were Todobarro’s R&D department, developing their prototypes first in our own workshop and then building them a 600 m² one with a full team and machinery. A floor worn by time for a hotel in Seville, a ceramic body formulated for a hotel in Lisbon, tiles that interlock like a puzzle for a villa in Marbella, a slip-cast lattice screen. Some never went past prototype, but they opened the door to other projects.

The finishing touch

Statement pieces

Some pieces give a space character beyond its architecture, and some interior designers become repeat clients looking for exactly these one-of-a-kind pieces for their projects. With Licht FX we developed parabolic mirror structures like the one for Mindspace in Berlin. With Lago Interioriza we’ve worked on several projects, such as the resin and mineral-filled lamp for the restaurant Palodú or an electronic candle wall with real wax that ended up as the go-to selfie spot at Bendito Club.
